| Individuals
who have a High School Diploma / equivalent are eligible for the
Bachelors Program (AOU
must have this on file to award credits towards a degree). |

School Seniors are accepted with the proviso that they submit a
diploma within one year |
Students
without a High School Diploma / equivalent may take courses but will
not receive credits towards a degree |
Applicants
must send the following requirements:

Application
Form 301
-
Copy
of your Photo-ID (Driving License/ Passport/
Green Card, etc.)

A
copy of your GED, High School, or University diploma or transcript
-
A
copy of their photo ID
-
A
letter of recommendation from their Masjid or Islamic Center, or a
person of good standing in the Muslim community
who knows you well enough to testify to your character and
suitability for the program.

The
non-refundable admission fee of US $75.00 in any of the following
ways:
Check,
Money or Postal Order for the full amount
made payable to American Open University (An
additional charge of $25.00 will be made for any checks that are
returned.)
OR
Credit
card - by supplying the card number and date of expiry of their card.
AOU accepts the following of cards: American Express, Discover,
MasterCard, or Visa.
